StriderPay™
StriderPay™ is our proprietary financial processing service that enables you to securely collect credit or debit card payments online directly from riders, without the hassles of a merchant account or gateway fees.
We auto-calculates the exact merchant processing fee required for each transaction and adds it upfront to the total due from the rider. We add a nominal convenience fee to cover our data costs. That way your proceeds are always protected, and you get the exact amount you want.
In order to use our StriderPay™ product to collect payments online from riders/clients, you must:
- Be a STRIDER™ Platform Member in good standing
- Hold (or have permission to use) a verified “Business Category” PayPal account and;
- Agree to our Platform Terms of Use, which includes our Payment Processing Agreement.
One you’ve met above, you’ll be able to log into the platform and use our Create Announcement Form to publicly post your offering. After publication, your post will be viewable by more than 80,000 riders across the industry.
What Charge Cards Do You Support?
Riders can pay with VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, or Discover. Riders can also pay with their PayPal account balance, but they are not required to.
How Soon Do I Get My Funds?
Funds settle in your Paypal account with two to five business days. You’ll receive an email notification of deposit.
What Does It Cost? PayPal charges me processing fees on my website to accept charge card payments. Do you deduct from my revenue?
Nothing. If you charge $100.00 for a show entry, you’ll see exactly $100.00 appear in your account.
Our StriderPay™ service is designed to be convenient and practical.
To protect your proceeds, we automatically add a minor handing fee to each transaction to cover credit card processing and data storage costs, competitive with all other platforms.
Riders generally find they are charged LESS using STRIDER™ than with facility websites. That’s because we get better charge card rates with our volume.
What type of PayPal account do I need?
You need a validated “Business category” PayPal account. **This does NOT mean you have to have a business EIN set up.
It’s simply is the classification term PayPal uses to allow unlimited payment for services. If you’d like to sign up as an Individual for a PayPal Business Category Account, simply select “Individual Proprietorship” during account setup

If a Rider pays me through StriderPay™, who issue refunds?
You do. You are in charge of any money paid for your activities. See “How To Issue Refunds” for instructions.
How do I move StriderPay™ Funds into my bank account?
We recommend setting up AutoSweep with PayPal. That way funds move automatically each night for you.

Can I Still Accept Checks?
We support checks with our standard template but not our custom form.
